Julie Waitman, Chief Executive Officer for our Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, was initiated into Beta Beta Chapter at North Dakota State University where she served as Vice President-Fraternity Education and Ritual Chairman. She began her professional Alpha Gam journey as a Leadership Consultant (LC) and lovingly remembers the power of sisterhood she received from the thousands of women she met that year……as well as traveling at a time when luggage had no wheels, there were no laptops - thus toting a separate suitcase filled with printed copies of all handbooks, and when LCs were required to travel with an Alpha Gam fabric skirt in their wardrobes. 

 

Her professional life has centered on non-profit management and has included service as Executive Director of Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity, and service on the board of directors for the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence – the umbrella organization for men’s and women’s fraternal foundations.

 

Julie loves to spend time with her two favorite daughters – Katie and Sarah, learning how to make Norwegian foods, hiking in state parks, and she has started checking off locales on her long list of places she hopes to visit in the world.
