WORKING TOGETHER
The Jewel Ball is the flagship philanthropic fundraising event for both the collegiate and alumnae chapters of Alpha Gamma Delta at The University of Akron. The purpose of the event is to help both chapters achieve ‘Jewel Status’ through their donations to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. The Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation is a non-profit organization that exists to support the community, the Fraternity, and our sisters. This support comes in multiple forms of grants and scholarships including disaster relief, continuing education, fighting hunger, to name a few. Omega and the Foundation strive to contribute to the world's work and make a difference in the communities where we are placed.

Alpha Gamma Delta was founded on May 30, 1904 at Syracuse University.

Carol Gordon Scholarship

The Carol Gordon Scholarship is an endowed scholarship for the Omega Chapter which was established in 1986.
